- Si tienes que elegir un melón, el mejor es el melón hembra que el macho. El melón hembra tiene el troncho mas ancho que el macho.
- Si el rabo del melón se resiste al retorcerlo, el melón no está maduro, tiene que romperse facilménte.
- Es preferible el melón de piel granulosa al de piel lisa.
